In February, the citywide Church in Peoria, representing over 18 congregations and ministries, consecrated themselves to the Lord by participating in “The Divine Experiment”. Participating ministries cancelled their normal schedules and spent the time praying with their families and gathering in the evenings to pray together as a corporate body every night for 21 days! Believers fasted from the status quo and spirit of the world by turning off their T.V.’s, limiting internet, cell phone and entertainment, taking time for family devotions to "rebuild the family altar", they fasted from food, limited shopping, sports and other things as the Lord led them.

At the conclusion of the 21 days the corporate Bride of Christ gathered for a "Celebration Service" where for almost 4 hours they shared their testimonies of what God had done in their hearts, families, congregations and community. The appetite and lifestyle of the Church in Peoria has been changed forever!
